Ok, someone on her Twitter account said 6 YEARS AGO that they were concerned about perverts taking advantage of the “I can go into any bathroom I want as long as I identify as that gender”. (And unsurprisingly, yes, things like that have happened.)
The good news is, it’s not going well for the company who fired this woman. People have finally had enough of this bullying, and have spoken out against her firing. This is what NEEDS to happen; companies can hire/fire who they want, but do it for reasons that have merit – not because someone is offended that your employee doesn’t THINK like they want them to, and launches a campaign to get the employee fired. Being punished for what you THINK is wrong; your thoughts never hurt anyone.
I’m glad to see people speaking out against “wrongthink”.
