Is it just me, or does this whole thing make no sense at all?

So, we didn’t know what we were shooting at when we shot at it, still don’t know what it is, missed and don’t know where one of the missiles ended up, this is bizarre. But we’re pretty sure it’s not aliens, ok? I’m not worried about aliens, I’m worried about people shooting missiles (or anything else) at stuff when they don’t know what it IS. Heat seeking missiles for balloons????
